Honey Williams

is the designer and founding facilitator of the Beauty Shield Workshop series. She is a ceremonial person. She has been working with plant medicines and prayer for over 25 years, in different capacities and modalities, and has picked up tools and understandings that have helped her walk in beauty. She is happy to share these good ways. Honey is a long time Indigenous Education teacher (K-Uni), ceremonial singer, fire dancer, plant medicine ally, avid gardener, food and medicine gatherer, artist, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Honey identifies first as an Earthling, committed to decolonizing and love. She is of multi-ethnic heritage, including Irish, Metis, Latina (Indigenous Mexican, Basque, Portuguese) and even some African. She is adopted Northern Dene and married in Secwepemc. Honey was raised in Southern New Mexico (Apache territory), lived on Coast Salish lands for over a decade and now happily lives with her husband and daughter at his hereditary home, Secwepemcu'ulewc.
